White Cheddar Spinach Chicken Burgers (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Burger Mixture

01 - 450 g ground chicken
02 - 100 g fresh spinach, finely chopped
03 - 60 g white cheddar cheese, shredded
04 - 30 g breadcrumbs
05 - 40 g onion, finely chopped
06 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
07 - 15 ml Dijon mustard
08 - 5 ml Worcestershire sauce
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - Olive oil, for cooking

→ Assembly

11 - 4 burger buns
12 - Optional toppings: lettuce leaves, tomato slices, extra cheddar cheese

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Add ground chicken, spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a large bowl. Gently mix until fully incorporated.
02 - Divide the mixture evenly into 4 portions and shape each into a patty of uniform thickness.
03 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Drizzle with olive oil and cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C.
04 - Transfer patties to a plate and allow them to rest briefly before assembling.
05 - Place each patty on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and additional cheese if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For a gluten-free alternative, substitute gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns.
02 - Patties may also be cooked on a grill for a smoky flavour.
03 - Cooked patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
