Crispy Thai Banana Roti Oreos (Printable Version)

Golden roti with banana filling, topped with Oreo crumbs and dark chocolate, served warm for a sweet finish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Roti Dough

01 - 130 g all-purpose flour
02 - 60 ml water (adjust as needed)
03 - 15 ml condensed milk
04 - 15 ml oil, plus additional for resting
05 - Pinch of salt

→ Filling and Toppings

06 - 1 ripe banana, thinly sliced
07 - 30 g unsalted butter or oil, for frying
08 - 4 Oreo cookies, crushed
09 - 2–3 tbsp dark chocolate sauce (store-bought or homemade)

# Steps To Follow:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, condensed milk, water, and oil. Knead until the dough is soft and smooth, without sticking to your hands.
02 - Coat the dough with additional oil, cover, and let rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
03 - Divide the rested dough into 2 equal portions and shape them into balls.
04 - Lightly oil your work surface. Flatten and gently stretch one dough ball into a very thin, nearly translucent sheet.
05 - Heat butter or oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Lay the stretched dough onto the pan, placing banana slices evenly in the center.
06 - Fold the dough edges over the filling, creating a square package and sealing tightly.
07 - Cook the parcel for 2–3 minutes per side until each is golden brown and extremely crisp.
08 - Transfer to a cutting board and slice into bite-size squares or triangles. Arrange on a plate.
09 - Generously sprinkle with crushed Oreo cookies, then drizzle with dark chocolate sauce in zigzag lines. Serve immediately while hot and crisp.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Ensure the dough is stretched very thin for maximum crispiness and classic texture.
