02 - 13 grams granulated sugar
03 - 4 grams baking powder
04 - 1 gram baking soda
05 - Pinch of salt
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 180 milliliters whole milk
08 - 28 grams unsalted butter, melted
09 - 5 milliliters vanilla extract

→ Whipped Cream

10 - 120 milliliters heavy cream, well-chilled
11 - 8 grams powdered sugar
12 - 2.5 milliliters vanilla extract

# Steps To Follow:

01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt until evenly blended.
02 - In a separate bowl, thoroughly whisk the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
03 - Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until a smooth batter forms. Avoid overmixing to ensure tender waffles.
04 - Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions and lightly brush or spray with oil or melted butter.
05 - Ladle the batter into the center of the waffle iron, close, and cook until the waffle is golden brown and crisp, approximately 3 to 5 minutes depending on the appliance.
06 - Place the chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a cold mixing bowl. Whisk vigorously by hand or with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
07 - Transfer a warm waffle to a plate and top with a generous spoonful or piped swirl of freshly whipped cream. Optionally, finish with a light dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
