Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger Bun (Printable Version)

Juicy beef burger layered with cheddar, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and toasted brioche bun.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 450g ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
03 - 4 slices smoked streaky bacon
04 - 1 large tomato, sliced
05 - 4 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce
06 - 2 brioche burger buns

→ Seasoning and Condiments

07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
09 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
10 - Ketchup, as desired (optional)
11 - Mayonnaise, as desired (optional)
12 - Mustard, as desired (optional)
13 - Pickles, sliced (optional)

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Divide ground beef into two equal portions. Form each into a patty slightly wider than the bun. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon slices until deeply crisp. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
03 - Using the same pan or a grill over medium-high heat, cook beef patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until desired doneness is achieved. During the final minute, place 2 slices of cheddar on each patty. Cover to allow cheese to melt thoroughly.
04 - Spread butter on the cut sides of each bun. Toast on a skillet or grill until golden brown and fragrant.
05 - Place a toasted bun base on each plate. Layer with lettuce leaf, tomato slices, a cheesy beef patty, and crispy bacon. Add preferred condiments and pickles if using. Cap with the top bun.
06 - Serve burgers immediately while hot, accompanied by fries, onion rings, or a chilled beverage.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Resting the cooked patties for a minute before assembling helps juices redistribute for optimal flavor.
02 - Ensure bacon is arranged flat in the pan to achieve even crispiness throughout.
