# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 500 g beef sirloin, cut into 2 cm cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Sauce

05 - 150 g tomatoes, finely chopped
06 - 1 small onion, diced
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
09 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
11 - 100 ml water
12 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Pat the beef cubes dry with a paper towel. Place in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
03 - Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, sauté onion for 2 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, smoked paprika, and cumin. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
04 - Return seared beef to the skillet. Add water and stir well. Simmer gently for 15 minutes until beef is tender and sauce thickens.
05 - Adjust seasoning if needed. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with sauce spooned over the beef.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For optimal tenderness, allow the beef to rest for several minutes before serving.
