02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1 carrot, diced
06 - 1 celery stalk, diced
07 - 400g ground beef
08 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
09 - 400g canned crushed tomatoes
10 - 1 tsp dried oregano
11 - Salt & pepper to taste

→ Garnish

12 - Fresh basil leaves (optional)
13 - Freshly shaved parmesan cheese

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are soft and fragrant.
03 - Add ground beef to the vegetable mixture. Break apart with a wooden spoon and cook until thoroughly browned, about 5-7 minutes.
04 - Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes until sauce thickens and flavors meld together.
05 - Portion spaghetti onto plates and top with generous spoonfuls of Bolognese sauce. Finish with freshly shaved parmesan cheese and torn basil leaves if desired.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For authentic Bolognese, allow the sauce to simmer longer (up to an hour) for deeper flavor development.
02 - Reserve a small cup of pasta cooking water to add to the sauce if it becomes too thick.
