Bake or deep-fry the French fries according to the packaging or until golden and crisp. Set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onion, green bell pepper, and orange bell pepper; sauté until soft and aromatic, about 4–5 minutes.

Add thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin to the skillet. Sauté until browned and just cooked through, 2–3 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Remove from heat.

Layer the cooked fries on a large serving plate. Distribute the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the fries. Sprinkle shredded cheese across the top.
