→ Velvety Dipping Sauce

07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 1 tablespoon plain flour
09 - 180 millilitres whole milk
10 - 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese
12 - Salt, to taste
13 - White pepper, to taste
14 - Pinch of garlic or nutmeg for depth (optional)

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out pizza dough and slice into strips approximately 2–2.5 centimetres wide. Twist each strip or leave straight, arranging them on the prepared tray.
03 - Brush breadsticks with melted butter. Generously sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Season lightly with salt. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden and crisp on the edges. Remove and keep warm.
04 - Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in flour and cook gently for 1 minute without allowing it to brown.
05 - Gradually add milk while whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
06 - Stir in grated Parmesan and cream cheese until fully melted and incorporated. Season with salt and white pepper, adding a pinch of garlic or nutmeg if desired. Keep sauce warm and transfer to a ceramic or dark wooden dipping cup for serving.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For extra crispness, let breadsticks cool briefly on a wire rack before serving.
