# What You'll Need:

→ Wings

01 - 1 kg chicken wings, split and tips removed
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Nether Flame Sauce

07 - 60 ml hot sauce (such as Frank's, Sriracha, or a blend)
08 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
09 - 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
10 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
11 - 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes
12 - 1 clove garlic, grated
13 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
14 - pinch of salt

→ Garnish

15 - Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro
16 - Lemon wedges
17 - Nether Flame sauce, for serving

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Combine the chicken wings, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a large mixing bowl. Toss thoroughly to ensure even coating. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate for up to 12 hours.
02 - In a small saucepan set over medium heat, add hot sauce, melted butter, honey or brown sugar, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, chili flakes, grated garlic, cumin (if using), and a pinch of salt. Whisk constantly and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened. Reserve a few tablespoons in a separate bowl for serving.
03 - To grill, preheat the grill to medium-high. Grill wings for 15 to 18 minutes, turning occasionally until the skin is charred and the meat is cooked through. To bake, heat oven to 220°C. Arrange wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway. For extra crispness, broil 2 to 3 minutes at the end.
04 - Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl and pour over the prepared Nether Flame sauce. Toss to evenly coat each wing.
05 - Arrange coated wings on a metal serving tray. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or cilantro and lemon wedges. Serve the reserved Nether Flame sauce alongside for dipping.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For crispier wings, pat them dry before seasoning and refrigerate uncovered for 1 to 2 hours to help render excess moisture.
02 - Adjust chili flakes and hot sauce quantity to tailor the heat to your preference.
03 - For an intense spicy kick, add a pinch of ghost pepper to the sauce.
