# What You'll Need:

→ Buttermilk Biscuits

01 - 250 g all-purpose flour

→ Fried Chicken

07 - 2 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
08 - 240 ml buttermilk
09 - 5 ml hot sauce (optional)
10 - 125 g all-purpose flour
11 - 2 g paprika
12 - 1 g garlic powder
13 - Salt, to taste
14 - Black pepper, to taste
15 - Oil, for deep frying

16 - Vanilla ice cream, scooped
17 - Honey, for drizzling

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in the cold, cubed butter until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Add the cold buttermilk and stir gently until just combined. Roll out dough to 2.5 cm thickness and cut into rounds. Place biscuits on a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
02 - Marinate the chicken thighs or breasts in buttermilk with hot sauce (if using) for 30 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove the chicken from the marinade and coat thoroughly in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing to adhere. Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C. Fry the chicken until golden and crisp, about 5–6 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
03 - Slice the warm biscuits in half. Place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half of each biscuit. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream over the chicken and drizzle generously with honey. Cap with the remaining biscuit halves and serve immediately.
