01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 298 g French onion soup (1 can, 10.5 oz)
05 - 298 g cream of mushroom soup (1 can, 10.5 oz)
06 - 200 g uncooked white rice
07 - 480 ml beef broth
08 - 100 g shredded Swiss cheese or mozzarella
09 - 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
10 - 0.5 g black pepper
11 - 3 g salt
12 - 30 ml olive oil

→ Garnish (Optional)

13 - Chopped fresh parsley

# Steps To Follow:

01 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
02 - Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until thoroughly browned, breaking apart with a spoon. Season with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and remove from heat.
03 - In a large bowl, combine French onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, uncooked white rice, and the cooked beef mixture. Stir until fully blended.
04 - Grease a 33x23 cm (9x13-inch) baking dish. Pour the mixture into the dish and spread evenly. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 175°C for 50 to 55 minutes, until the rice is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
05 - Uncover and evenly sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese over the top. Return to the oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Swap Swiss for Gruyère for a more robust French flavor profile.
02 - Brown rice can replace white rice for a nuttier taste; extend baking time as needed.
03 - Enhance nutrition by adding mushrooms or green beans to the mixture before baking.
04 - Dish freezes well for up to 2 months. Cool completely before freezing.
