# What You'll Need:

→ Cake Base

01 - 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
02 - 120 millilitres vegetable oil
03 - 240 millilitres whole milk
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 1 pinch fine salt
06 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
07 - 14 grams baking powder
08 - 7 grams vanilla extract
09 - 190 grams all-purpose flour

→ Chocolate Sauce

10 - 120 millilitres vegetable oil
11 - 100 grams granulated sugar
12 - 120 millilitres whole milk
13 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
14 - 7 grams vanilla extract

# Steps To Follow:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, oil, milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
02 - Add cocoa powder and a pinch of salt, then gradually sift in the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
03 - Lightly grease and flour a standard cake pan to prevent sticking.
04 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
05 - While the cake is baking, heat oil, sugar, milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over low heat. Stir gently until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
06 - Allow the cake to cool for 5 minutes, then pierce the surface with a fork. Pour the warm chocolate sauce evenly over the cake, allowing it to absorb.
