Elegant Seafood Platter (Printable Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 200g cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 200g calamari rings, lightly fried or grilled
03 - 200g mussels, steamed with garlic and herbs
04 - 150g smoked salmon slices

→ Accompaniments

05 - 1 lemon, cut into wedges
06 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
07 - Crushed ice, for serving cold items

→ Sauces

08 - 1 small bowl of cocktail sauce
09 - 1 small bowl of garlic aioli or tartar sauce

# Steps To Follow:

01 - If not pre-cooked, boil or grill shrimp until pink and opaque. Lightly fry or grill calamari rings until golden and tender.
02 - In a pan, heat a bit of oil with minced garlic and herbs. Add mussels and a splash of white wine or water. Cover and steam for 5–7 minutes until the shells open fully.
03 - On a large serving platter, create a bed of crushed ice if serving cold items. Alternatively, line with lettuce leaves. Neatly arrange shrimp, calamari, mussels, and smoked salmon in distinct sections.
04 - Place lemon wedges around the platter. Sprinkle the seafood with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with small bowls of cocktail sauce and garlic aioli or tartar sauce.
