# What You'll Need:

01 - 8 pieces mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
02 - 8 slices cheddar cheese or gouda cheese

→ Breading Station

03 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 2 eggs, beaten
05 - 1.5 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
06 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika or Italian herbs (optional)

→ For Frying

07 - Sufficient oil for deep frying

→ To Serve

08 - Ketchup or marinara sauce

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with a slice of cheddar or gouda, ensuring complete coverage. Press gently to seal, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
02 - Arrange wrapped cheese sticks on a tray and freeze for 20 to 30 minutes to firm them and minimize cheese leakage during frying.
03 - Prepare three bowls: one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and a third with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika or Italian herbs if using.
04 - Coat each frozen cheese stick first in flour, then dip into beaten egg, and cover with breadcrumbs. For a thicker crust, repeat the egg and breadcrumb steps.
05 - Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C. Fry breaded cheese sticks in batches for 1 to 2 minutes until golden and crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
06 - Serve hot with ketchup or marinara sauce on the side.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Freezing the assembled cheese sticks before breading helps them hold shape and prevents cheese from leaking during frying.
