A hearty plate featuring crispy skin salmon and golden fries - a classic combination that's both satisfying and impressive.

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Salmon

01 - 2 skin-on salmon fillets
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - Lemon wedges, for serving
06 - Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish

→ For the French Fries

07 - 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled
08 - Vegetable oil, for frying
09 - Salt, to taste

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Cut potatoes into even sticks (¼-inch thick). Soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch for crispiness. Drain and pat completely dry with paper towels. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 175°C. Fry potatoes in batches for 4–5 minutes until light golden. Remove and let rest. Reheat oil to 190°C and fry again for 2–3 minutes until crispy and golden. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
02 - Pat salmon fillets dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and press gently for a crisp finish. Cook 4–5 minutes on the skin side until crispy and golden. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through.
03 - Place salmon fillet on one side of a plate, skin-side up for texture. Neatly pile fries on the other side. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
