Arrange three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper mixed together.

Pat each chicken piece dry with paper towels. Coat thoroughly in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in the egg mixture. Press firmly into the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated on all sides.

Heat approximately 1.2 centimetres of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 74°C. Drain on paper towels.

Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange breaded chicken pieces on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and fully cooked.

Lightly spray the breaded chicken with oil. Air fry at 190°C for 12 to 15 minutes, turning halfway through, until crisp and cooked through.
