12 - 110 grams shredded cheddar cheese
13 - Pickle slices, for serving (optional)
14 - Ketchup, for serving (optional)
15 - Burger sauce, for serving (optional)

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Set oven to 200°C and allow to preheat thoroughly.
02 - Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, chopped onion, and kosher salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and onions are softened, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain excess fat if desired. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes until absorbed.
03 - Lightly coat a 23-centimetre pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly into the pie plate.
04 - In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter until thoroughly combined. Add in flour and baking powder; continue whisking until batter is smooth.
05 - Pour batter evenly over the beef mixture in the pie plate. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until center is set and top is golden brown.
06 - Slice and serve warm, accompanied by pickles, ketchup, or burger sauce if desired.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Allow the pie to rest for 5 minutes before slicing for easiest serving.
02 - For best results, ensure buttermilk is at room temperature to achieve a smooth batter.
