# What You'll Need:

→ Burger Patties

01 - 500 g ground beef, 20% fat content
02 - 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
03 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Cheese and Toppings

04 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
05 - 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
06 - 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

→ Assembly

07 - 4 whole wheat burger buns
08 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix gently and divide into 4 equal portions. Form each into a patty approximately 2 cm thick.
02 - Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place patties onto the hot surface and grill for 3–4 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 70°C.
03 - During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese. Meanwhile, sauté the bell peppers in a separate pan with remaining olive oil until just tender, about 3 minutes.
04 - Lightly toast bun halves on the grill or in a toaster. Place each patty on a bun base, top with sautéed peppers, and finish with the bun tops. Serve immediately.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For enhanced flavor, let the beef patties rest for 2 minutes after cooking before assembling.
