Ham and Cheese Croissants (Printable Version)

Tender puff pastry wraps smoky ham and gooey cheese. Crisp, golden, and irresistible. Perfect for morning or snack.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling

02 - 6 slices cooked ham
03 - 6 slices cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Emmental)

→ Egg Wash

04 - 1 egg
05 - 1 teaspoon milk

→ Toppings and Garnish

06 - Chia seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
07 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

# Steps To Follow:

01 - Set oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 6 even triangles.
03 - Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on the wide end of each triangle. Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip, forming a croissant shape. Position on the prepared tray with the tip underneath.
04 - Beat the egg with 1 teaspoon milk. Brush over each croissant. Sprinkle with chia or poppy seeds if desired.
05 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until croissants are puffed and deeply golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley if preferred.
