Preheat to 220°C (425°F). If using a pizza stone, preheat it too.

Roll out dough into a large 14-16 inch round pizza. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread pizza sauce evenly, leaving a small border.

Sprinkle mozzarella over the sauce. Evenly scatter crumbled sausage across the surface. Add oregano and red pepper flakes if desired.

Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.

Let cool for 2–3 minutes. Cut into 16 even slices using a pizza wheel or sharp knife.
