Chocolate Oat Bowl (Printable Version)

Creamy cocoa-infused oats topped with banana, berries, and melty chocolate for a wholesome yet indulgent breakfast bowl.

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Base

01 - 1 cup rolled oats
02 - 2 cups milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
03 - 1½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
05 - 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)

→ Toppings

06 - ½ banana, sliced
07 - ¼ cup fresh blueberries
08 - 1 tablespoon peanut butter
09 - 1 tablespoon chocolate spread or Nutella
10 - 1 square of dark chocolate
11 - 1 teaspoon cocoa nibs

# Steps To Follow:

01 - In a saucepan, combine oats, milk, cocoa powder, and sweetener (if using). Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring often until creamy. If adding chocolate protein powder, stir it in after removing from heat to avoid clumping.
02 - Pour the chocolate oats into a serving bowl. Top with sliced banana and blueberries.
03 - Dollop the peanut butter and chocolate spread/Nutella on top. Place a square of dark chocolate in the center and sprinkle with cocoa nibs.
04 - Enjoy while warm — the chocolate spread and dark chocolate will melt slightly, creating a rich, gooey texture.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Add chia or flaxseeds to the oats for extra fiber.
02 - Swap Nutella for a healthier homemade chocolate spread if you prefer.
03 - To make it vegan, use plant-based milk and check that all ingredients are dairy-free.
